Cone Denim, under ITG (International Textile Group), has established a new production base in Nicaragua, "Cone Denim Nicaragua." The new company is located near the capital Managua, in the Jorge Bolanos Abaunza Textile Park, and will carry out a fully vertical operation, processing raw cotton through finished denim fabric. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 28 million yards. It is expected to have up to 850 employees.

Cone Denim's global manufacturing platform includes facilities in the US, Mexico, Turkey and China. This is the first time for the company to have a production base in Central or South America.
