New Vibro Washer developed by Komatsubara Iron Works of Wakayama improves washing efficiency for non-woven fabrics.

Komatsubara Iron Works (3-25, Chikko, Wakayama) has developed a new mechanism which significantly enhances the washing efficiency of a maintenance-free Floating Vibro Washer. Sales agreements are increasingly being reached for use in washing of non-woven fabrics and textiles for industrial materials.

The washing mechanism has not been changed for this newly developed Floating Vibro Washer (New FV Washer) as shown in the figure below, but it now prevents the fluid in the washing trough from becoming turbulent and has a higher-speed jet water stream from the punching roller, which is what the company innovated this time. As a result, its washing efficiency has been significantly improved and it has come to have an effect on materials that it had no effect on before. The following is one such example.

  • Improvement in arrangement of glass fiber fabric

Glass fiber fabrics are used for substrates of mobiles and LCD televisions, and ones with warp and woof tightly knit are recognized as higher grade. To achieve that level of quality, it is necessary to arrange warp and woof of woven fabrics, and the FV Washer made it possible to enhance the arrangement.

The washing test has confirmed a remarkable washing efficiency for textile fabrics as well.

Example of powerful washing effect
